Our Story

Glendalough Glamping is a family-run escape shaped by generations who have lived and worked in the Wicklow Mountains.

Nestled on a 21-acre hillside farm, the site reflects our heritage and love for this remarkable valley. Alongside our glamping pods, we care for a small flock of rare-breed Shropshire sheep – a tradition that keeps the land alive and connected to its roots. This is a place where nature sets the rhythm. Deer wander through the open glades at dawn and dusk, and the mountains create a dramatic backdrop to daily life.

As custodians of this landscape, we’re deeply committed to protecting it.     Glendalough Glamping is just over an hour’s drive from Dublin, making it an easy escape from the city. We’re located in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains, close to the world-famous Glendalough Monastic Site. Driving offers the most direct route, but regular bus services also connect Dublin to Glendalough and Laragh village, just a short distance from our site. Whether you’re travelling from Ireland or abroad, getting here is simple and the journey through the Wicklow countryside is part of the experience.
